Airdrie City Information
Situated on Calgary's north doorstep is one of Alberta's best-kept secrets, the City of Airdrie which is located only 10 minutes North of Calgary. This relaxed rural community of more than 25,000 people is a place where everyone can enjoy small town warmth, charm and atmosphere with nearby access to Calgary’s many amenities…but not its traffic.
City events include a pro rodeo, a festival of lights to celebrate Christmas, and Canada Day Parade.
"Everything a family could need is here, and if
it’s missing, well the big city is ten miles down
the road – what could be better?"
Mark Neilson,
resident of Airdrie, From Aidrie Life (pg.12)

The East Lake Recreation and Wellness Centre is a place where the whole family can have fun in either the 25 meter six lane pool, diving tank, or teach pool.
