About Nose Creek Park
Located in the Centre of Airdrie Nose Creek Park is a 40 acre oasis with:
- 3350 meters of paved pathway system for walking, cycling or rollerblading
- playgrounds for your children including a brand new playground as of 2005
- A pond stocked with 500 trout and a fountain spraying mist over the water.
- Skating on the pond is possible in the winter with fire pits to warm up by.,
- Picnic shelter with concession and washrooms
Wildlife in the park includes muskrat, beaver, deer, rabbit, heron, ducks or various songbirds.- Home to the Airdrie festival of lights. During this event, thousands of lights illuminate the winter sky celebrating the Christmas season
